A little about me

Hi. Jacqui Logan. Nice to meet you. I’m a Wake Forest resident with over 15 years experience as a professional Visual Merchandising Specialist for regional, high-end department stores in the southeast. I had staff and teams of up to 20 people under my management for major projects.

A few years ago I helped several friends stage their homes when they were putting them on the market. When the sales closed quickly and successfully afterwards, I decided I have a solid talent for working with people to get their homes in a marketable condition. So, I started my own home staging business. After a year of staging I decided to switch things around and started decorating and designing. It’s been a lot of fun helping people transform their houses into homes!

How l like to work

I begin by meeting with a client and talk about what their vision is for the home. I work with their stated budget and timeline they would like for the project to be done. And I’m very flexible with my working style! I can shop for and buy all new furnishings. I can work with a mix of existing and new furnishings. Or I can simply work with what a client already has. Whatever your situation, I guarantee you I’ll be able to refresh your home and give new life.

My background

As a professional Visual Merchandiser for many well-known retail brands, my main role was to make the stores look as good as they possibly could. And what does this have to do with Home Staging or decorating you might ask? Good question.

The visual presentation of any store is a blend of carefully thought-out product placement, a sharp eye for details, creating a space for optimal traffic flow and taste. These things are super critical for the success of any environment that’s trying to motivate a customer. Think of the last time you were in poorly done store – it makes a huge difference! The same principals apply to good home design and decor.
